Anchor Pin

VDOT specifies an unthreaded rod for securing barriers to the ground. The anchor pins are galvanized, A36 steel.

These anchor pins are installed vertically, and have a cone point added to the end of the rod to facilitate driving it into the ground or asphalt.

The anchor pins can be found on Standard Drawing MB-11A.
